About Lesson

Four Calming Words

On the fourth day of Christmas, dōTERRA gave to me:
Four calming words

It’s DAY 04, and, as I’m writing this, I recognize that there are so many different people with so many difference experiences who will be reading these words. Some of you may be in a really good place and loving the holiday season! For others, this frenetic and chaotic time may threaten to stress you out and overwhelm you. And for still others, this may be a very challenging season where you struggle to keep yourself above water, never mind engage in “tidings of comfort and joy”.

In the centre of every hurricane is a calm core that the raging wind spirals around. God knows that, with the societal storm we’ve been experiencing, we could all use a calm centre. Today will be focused on just that: creating peace in a storm. And our prize will help bring rest to one blessed person!

The Prize

One (1) person will win:
1x 10 mL Adaptiv Calming Blend
1x Adaptiv Calming Blend Capsules
1x Calmer Restful Blend
1x ClaryCalm Monthly Blend for Women

How To Enter

Step 01 – Read the Education content below. It will add great value to your life if you apply it!
Step 02 – Complete the Fourth Day of Christmas Quiz.
Step 03 – If you have any questions about the lesson, ask in the Comments.

BONUS ENTRY
In the comments below, share some good news which gives you hope for the year to come.

Education

We’re keeping it super simple today. Here are 3 techniques that you can use to stay centred in a chaotic time.

Text In Image:
Staying Centred in Stormy Times. Here are 3 ways to keep calm and relaxed.
1) Positive Focus. Stormy times are infinitely worse when we feel they will last forever. By finding something to look forward to, we give ourselves hope and allow our minds to seek uplifting opportunities.
2) Community. When things are going poorly, it’s easy to turtle up and hide. What we really need is the exact opposite. By connecting with positive people, we gain hope and feel heard.
3) Remove Bad News. It’s easy to get addicted to bad news. It’s thoroughly stimulating, and we can often feel a sense of importance. If you want to feel better, cut it out. Only keep what’s strictly needed.

Today’s quiz is more of a mission. Your goal is to share some words of encouragement with your friends or communities online. For those who need some inspiration, a year or so ago, I ran a social campaign called Be The Spark. Each story of hope shared during that campaign was so moving and so powerful. I highly recommend watching at least the main Be The Spark video. Visit Be The Spark Here.

Fourth Day of Christmas Quiz

Quiz Question:
Instead of a quiz, today we have a mission. Go out into the internet and share some hope for a bright future. Share a post that you feel will life people up and bring them hope. You can do this on any social media platform you like.* When you’re done, copy your post and email us your post along with the URL, so we can go and see your post.

*For those who are not on social media, you can send an encouraging text message, email, or card to someone instead. Please send us a screenshot or a photo of your encouraging message.

How to answer:
Email proof of completion to admin@kimberleymilousis.com.

Kimberley’s Journal Entry – DAY 4
What do I want for Christmas?

I don’t really need another vehicle though; imagine the insurance headaches. It’s cold in Canada, so I should just get something really warm for Christmas, like a FOX FUR COAT.

  1. Even though things seem dark. There is a light in this darkness. Jesus is our hope and salvation. The as we get busy and are running around. Remember the reason for this season. He is my light, joy and my hope!

  2. I am inspired and have hope for the future with the young adults I work with. They are kind, thoughtful, aware critical thinkers who have confidence in themselves and their abilities and are actively involved in their community.

  3. Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don’t give up hope. Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround yourself with happy, warm and genuine people.” – Tena Desae

    Posted on Facebook.

  4. I posted my sister’s visit on my Facebook page, Sharon Watkin. She came over and helped me organize some areas in my house that I can never get to due to my CFS/Fibro. She also made a decorative planter out of materials/plants in my back yard. It was so helpful and lifted my spirits. I cooked her a good meal and we all relaxed and watched a movie. I like to do what I can for others, but it was so nice to have someone do things for me. Remember to be thankful for others… to give and receive. 💕🌺🌟

  5. I will be heading to Mexico for a company trip for the first time in January.
I am both excited, yet nervous and humbled at the same time.
It is a new venture for me and hopefully will signify a year of intentional networking!

  6. I so agree with the three things above- I CAN”T SPEND TIME focusing on the negative news around me. Instead I need to be around uplifiting , encouraging God centred and focused news.
I am a positive person and want to be a HOPE giver to many.

  7. Had my own turtling moment last week, but also in the midst of it something very positive – I met a woman who spontaneously shared the story of her life and is interested in learning more about the oils for both herself and father (both dealing with the CA word). So even in your darkest days keep an open mind to receiving that silver lining.

  8. My good news is that I applied for a position on the Accessibility Board in my community where we live.
Ariella was born with a genetic mutation that (unless a miracle through the blood of Jesus, changes it) causes her to have life-long Complex/Special-Needs that keep her immobile unless in a wheelchair, and is fully-dependent on equipment and/or others to take care of her daily, basic-needs such as eating, dressing, hygiene, sitting, and moving from one place to another, etc.
Since she’s been born, we quickly found out how inaccessible a lot of places are, so if I am accepted on the board, I really look forward to being a voice that can make a difference in our community for others who struggle with the same things we do regarding accessibility-needs, in the new year and beyond.

  9. I just finished watching the Spark Of Hope video- and it was so beautifully put together and everyone’s personal stories of struggle and triumph definitely is encouraging- thank you for making such a blog and videos <3

I did a FB Live yesterday where I gave people words of encouragement through the gift of prophecy. It was a really impactful time and many people were blessed. https://www.facebook.com/jenny.rose.aitchison/videos/729351031400548
